Today we add a new award! We have won the Digital Talent award in the second Edition of Expansión 50 Best Digital Ideas. With this, there are already 13 prizes awarded to this initiative that keeps growing and changing. Soon, Emotional Driving will arrive to schools in order to reinforce road safety among the youngest. The project started locally, at the factories of the company, where employees and their relatives provided the content whilst they received training and optimistic talks to strengthen their awareness on road safety. Emotional Driving has received Prevencionar Award as best Project on road safety. According to the jury, the prize is awarded due to the “perfect planning and implementation of ‘Emotional Driving’ project, as well as for its satisfactory results”. Gonvarri won the prize against other important competitors as Johnson & Johnson, Alsa, Truckdeal and Egarsat. Altogether, a sum of 349 applications were presented to the first edition of Prevencionar Awards. With this one, there are 12 international awards already won in different categories, as Internal Communications, Corporate Social Responsibility and, this time, Road Safety. Emotional Driving Project has won a Golden SABRE Award in automotive class. This award recognizes the awareness work developed by Gonvarri Steel Services (GSS), whose employees have been the best ambassadors and speakers since a year and half ago. Thanks to the high participation in the Emotional Driving Book Challenge performed during the last 6 weeks, it has been collected 5,000 euros of collective donation toAESLEME (Prevention of Accidents that Cause Spinal Cord), organization key in the road safety Project. It was set that if among all the participants, they would achieve 5,000 points they would be translated into euros. By the end of the challenge, there were over 200,000 points collected.
